FBI investigating Miramar ATM blasted open by explosive device

SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--A robbery suspect used an explosive device to open an ATM machine Sunday morning in Miramar, according to San Diego Police Department. 

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. at a Chevron gas station on Miramar Road between Kearny Villa and Black Mountain roads, police said.

It was not known whether the suspect(s) were in custody. 

The FBI is investigating the incident.
