(KGTV) -- There's a small ray of hope for brides jilted by news of Alfred Angelo Bridal's bankruptcy. Discounts at another retailer.
Thursday night 10News was in Clairemont Mesa, at one of two San Diego locations. That's where one woman told 10News Reporter Bree Steffen she was told she had until 6 p.m. to sort out her dress - but the store closed shortly before 5 p.m.
Women across the country suffering similar fates are furious about the wedding giants abrupt closures, saying they received absolutely no warning.

Amidst the controversy, another retail giant has stepped in. David's Bridal is now offering 30% off wedding dresses and 20% off bridesmaid dresses to Alfred Angelo customers.
The following statement is from the company's website:
"We know how much goes into planning a wedding, and we want to ensure that everyone affected by this news can still have the day of their dreams.
If you recently purchased a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress from an Alfred Angelo retail store and did not receive it, we are offering a discount on a replacement dress of your choice."
Rush fees for alterations have been waived to help meet the event dates of the brides. David's Bridal is also offering alterations services for Alfred Angelo dresses.
