SAN DIEGO - A mother's determination may have led to a break in a 20-year mystery.
The 1997 death of a Curtis Williamson,16, originally ruled as an accident, was recently changed to a homicide investigation.
His mother Patricia Wood compiled a list of reports from various agencies and got the attention of someone in the District Attorney's Office. She revealed the clues she believes convinced the Medical Examiner's office to take a second look.
