SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The body of a person who appeared to have died of natural causes was found Tuesday in a public restroom on the northern shore of Mission Bay.
The discovery at Fanuel Street Park in Pacific Beach was reported shortly after 7:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.
After investigators determined that there was nothing suspicious about the fatality, the county Medical Examiner's Office took custody of the body for identification and autopsy purposes, SDPD public-affairs Officer Billy Hernandez said.
Hernandez said he did not know the gender or approximate age of the deceased.
