Miss Colorado stunned at the Miss America pageant over the weekend, and for all the right reasons.
Kelly Johnson didn’t sing and dance for the crown. During the contest’s talent portion, Johnson walked on the stage in nurse’s scrubs, with a stethoscope around her neck. She proceeded to give a touching monologue about her true talent, nursing, and her favorite patient, a man suffering from Alzheimer’s.
Not everyone agreed with her ensemble.

“She came in a nurse’s uniform and basically read her emails out loud, and shockingly did not win. I was like, ‘That’s not a real talent,’” The View host Michelle Collins said. “She helps patients with Alzheimer’s, which I know is not funny, but I swear you had to see it. Google it if you can.”
“Why does she have a doctor’s stethoscope around her neck?” Joy Behar asked right after.
